This information is for hog hunters and dog people alike. I am a third generation hog hunter and from a family of dog men as far back as can be traced. I have recently opened a Wildlife Preserve in attempt to make a living at something I enjoy. Unlike most hunting club owners, however, I am a hog hunter.

Being dedicated to the sport, I have tried to find a way to offer more than the typical hog hunting lodges. Other lodges push you in, kill your hog, and push you out. If dogs are needed, they use their own dogs. Real hog hunters, and dog men, would prefer to use their own dogs. That is most of the reward for a real dog person. I want to offer something to real hog hunters and dog men in a beautiful part of the country known for it's history of Russian hogs.

What we wish to offer dog men here is an opportunity to hunt in a fenced area of the Preserve. This is perfect for people wanting a guaranteed catch. A hog has an average range of 5 to 15 miles. Some estimates have them ranging up to 50 miles. I have friends who plan hunts to other states and across the country. They drive for hours to hunt an area where hogs were sited the day before. They often came up empty because by the time they arrived these hogs were 10 miles away on someone else's land. This will not happen here.

This is also the perfect place to start, or fine tune, young dogs and keep old dogs in tune. There are plenty of good areas to hunt hogs across the country. Heavily hunted areas, however, produce hogs that are wise to the ways of hunting dogs. In these areas, only a finely tuned pack of dogs can bring home the bacon. We offer you a large fenced area and guarantee you the hogs to finely tune your pack of dogs.

Here a flat price will provide you with the entire fenced part of the Preserve. Only you, your party, and your dogs will be in the area. This price will also provide you with two hogs inside the area. These hogs are yours. Additional hogs can be provided throughout the hunt, if requested, for an additional fee.
